Community

We are committed to delivering new homes in a way that is environmentally, socially and economically sustainable. To make sure we achieve this, we are committed to talking with existing local communities to help shape our plans.

The community has had an important role in the Baltic Wharf plans so far – helping to shape the final proposals – and we hope they will continue to play a significant part in the future of the site to ensure we create a vibrant space that is part of the local community.

Community space and facilities

We hope to encourage a sense of community at Baltic Wharf – not only by bringing 166 new homes, but by also creating a range of new, accessible, public spaces that uphold the heart of Bristol: a city of activity, culture, and people. We want to encourage people to make the most of the waterfront location and to feel the benefits of the green social space that Baltic Wharf can provide.

For our future residents, a mix of private and shared terraces and roof gardens means they can relax in colourful, biodiverse spaces however they choose.

We want everyone using the harbourside to use and benefit from the Baltic Wharf development.

Community partners

We can’t say it enough – we don’t want to work in isolation but with the local community. We are now working with charity Trees for Streets to fund a new planting campaign of trees local to the site. We are also working with Bristol Housing Festival and have signed up to becoming a Climate Change Challenge partner. If you would be interested in working with us – please do get in touch.
